Caught In Her Web [JanJingjing Spiderverse AU]

Art student Jingjing enjoys the quiet moments on her fire escape, observing the restless neon streets of Queens. But her peaceful nights take a thrilling turn when Spider-Woman, the city's most feared and misunderstood vigilante, starts crashing onto her balcony to patch up wounds and escape the police. Beneath the intimidating mask and confident banter, Jingjing discovers a hero who makes funny jokes and gets flustered by simple compliments.

At the same time, Jingjing finds herself drawn to Jan, a quiet, stuttering science major in her campus lectures who hides her athletic frame under baggy hoodies. Jan is smart, awkward, and incredibly charming, offering a safe harbor away from the danger of the vigilante.

Caught between a sweet crush on a shy classmate and a dangerous, undeniable attraction to a masked protector, Jingjing navigates a web of secrets, stolen moments, and high-stakes action. But in a city full of disguises, the greatest puzzle might just lead to the exact same heart.
