Sweet Trap | Kinich × Fem!Reader (Eng Version)

I was nothing more than a prize in a crazy contest my father had devised himself. Whoever retrieved the ring from the highest peak would have the right to marry me.

Kinich, the brusque and pragmatic Saurian Hunter, managed to win it-but he refused to make me his wife.

Instead of leaving, he actually came back and claimed me as his fake fiancée. I know he's not serious; he just hates seeing those greedy people trying to get their hands on me.

However, as he began to look at me as more than just a duty, I started to wonder: is this really just about protection, or is there something he's hiding behind his cold demeanor?
