When It Rains Inside

The first time I saw her, she was standing by the window, looking like she belonged somewhere far beyond the room we shared.
There was something unsettling about her stillness-too quiet, too unreadable, as if she had learned to hide every thought behind those eyes.
I couldn't tell what bothered me more: the emptiness in her expression or the strange pull that made me keep looking.
I remember thinking, almost immediately, that Rue was the kind of person I should stay away from.
BUT the more I tried to stay away from her, the more I found myself being drawn towards her.
