My head swivels back at the girls. Two of them have entered the main boxing ring and are circling each other. Their heads are fully covered with some kind of helmet. Huge red gloves blocking their faces.
"You taking that?" The coach asks.
"Registrations are open?"
"For the girls team, yeah."
"No way." Kai shakes his head in disbelief. "You are not filling this out."
"You do not tell me what to do." I don't blink as I look at him.
"You are already in my home. In my school. Now even in my friends group." he steps closer, rage building in his eyes. "Can you please leave one place where I don't have to see you. That gym is the one place I'm at peace. You cannot take that away from me."
