Sofie Rodgers has usually always stayed in Missouri, because her parents teach at a high school there. Although she was shy, and considered a bit of a nerd, she loved that school. She loved her house, neighborhood, and all of the people that live there.
But her family is making a big move to the town of Los Angeles.
To Sofie, there are some ups and downs to the trip. She doesn't want to leave her home in Missouri, but she has always wanted to change the way people see her.
She may decide to try to completely change her attitude to fit in with everyone, but stand out it a good way. Will her new high school life succeed, or go down the drain?
