In this alternate universe of My Hero Academia, Shoto Todoroki has spent years feeling like everyone sees a version of him that never felt right. Originally assigned female at birth, Shoto eventually realizes that he is a boy and begins the difficult, emotional process of living openly as himself.
Fortunately, Shoto isn't alone.
His older brother Dabi has always been fiercely protective of him, and their family has changed dramatically since Endeavor genuinely confronted his mistakes and worked to become a better father and husband. Rei, Dabi, Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Shoto now live together with Endeavor, trying to build the family they should have had all along.
At U.A. High School, Shoto has his friends, his classmates, and the people who make the dorms feel like home. Izuku Midoriya-Shoto's boyfriend-has been one of his biggest sources of support. Their relationship is built on trust, patience, and the understanding that Shoto gets to decide who he is.
Meanwhile, U.A. is overflowing with complicated family trees, friendships, relationships, ridiculous arguments, and enough chaos to keep Aizawa and Present Mic permanently exhausted.
Dabi and Hawks are together. Nejire is dating Fuyumi. Natsuo is dating Shigaraki. Mirio and Tamaki are preparing for their November 2026 wedding. Bakugo, Monoma, and Toga are siblings, while Shigaraki and Deku are brothers. Toga and Ochaco are together, Shinso and Denki are together, and practically every corner of U.A. has some kind of relationship happening.
The former villains-including Dabi, Shigaraki, Toga, and Hizashi Midoriya, formerly known as AFO-are no longer villains. The old League of Villains base has been transformed into the League of Heroes headquarters.
This is a story about family, identity, friendship, love, healing, ridiculous dorm life, and learning that becoming yourself doesn't mean you have to do it alone.
