Pieces of Being Human

Some feelings are too complicated to explain in a conversation.

So we write them down.

This is a collection of thoughts, emotions, questions, and moments that don't always have easy answers-about love that changes, people who leave, friendships that grow distant, mistakes we carry, loneliness we don't talk about, the things we lose while growing up, and the parts of ourselves we are still learning to understand.

Some poems may be about someone.

Some may be about something that happened.

And some may simply be about a feeling you couldn't put into words.

There is no single story here.

Only different pieces of being human.

Read the ones that feel familiar.

And leave the ones that don't.

Perhaps somewhere between these words, you'll find a feeling you thought only you had.
