Journalist Simone Bennett stumbles upon something she was never meant to hear-a calculated plan to turn Michael Jackson's name, private life, and reputation into an endless source of profit.

There's only one problem with warning him.

Michael doesn't trust the press.

After every attempt to reach him fails, Simone takes a desperate risk and begins sending him anonymous letters disguised as a fan. What starts as a warning soon becomes something neither of them expected as Michael begins confiding in the mysterious woman behind the handwriting.

But as Simone grows closer to him outside the letters, she finds herself living two separate lives in Michael's world: the journalist he doesn't trust and the anonymous woman he does.

And the closer they become, the harder it will be to keep those two worlds from colliding.
