Server Crash

Macy and Alley were not friends.

They were close, but only by proximity and not at all because they liked each other.

They both worked for a major tech company and were in charge of keeping the servers up and running.

Macy had always hated Alley because she thought she was a bit homophobic and or racist.

Macy had been a very openly gay, woman, Dominican and in the tech field. So life had fucked her over about 4 times.

Over the last few years Alley had proven herself to just hate everybody and was neither racist or homophobic. Alley had let it slip that she had several mixed cousins and gay nephews. She was supportive but hated talking about personal life at work.

Lately the servers had been acting up more than usual, their boss was getting increasingly more aggravated because of it.

Macy and Alley had been trying their best to just keep the servers up long enough to figure out the problem and fix it. The servers were nothing important, they were simply a reading website, but their boss MIke did not care and wanted perfection. Mike as you might expect was racist, homophobic, and sexist.
