Three years after the war, Hermione Granger once again finds herself aboard the smoke-shrouded express heading north-with a good book in hand. Weary of the whispers surrounding her heroism and of a fame that has long since ceased to feel like an honour, she returns to the only place that ever truly felt like home: Hogwarts.

But the castle has changed-and so have the shadows moving through its corridors. And as ancient magic makes the steadfast walls tremble, Hermione stumbles upon something long forgotten, hidden beneath the dust of secrets centuries old.
