BEFORE THE NOISE

Before the sold-out arenas, screaming fans, and flashing cameras, there was just music.

Jaymie Becker never expected a talent show to change her life.

As the lead singer of Bed of Nails, a four-piece alternative rock band with her three best friends-Viktoria, Stephen, and Stefani-Jaymie is used to being overlooked. She's blunt, sarcastic, confident, and unapologetically herself. She doesn't need anyone's approval, and she definitely doesn't need a certain German rock star getting under her skin.

But when Tokio Hotel announces that they're searching for an opening band for their upcoming tour, Bed of Nails gets the chance of a lifetime.

One stage.

One competition.

One shot at being discovered.

And then there's Bill Kaulitz.

Jaymie doesn't fall for him immediately. In fact, she isn't even sure she likes him.

He's everything she shouldn't want-famous, complicated, unpredictable, and surrounded by a world she knows nothing about. But somewhere between late-night conversations, backstage chaos, stolen glances, and miles spent on the road, something begins to grow between them.

Something neither of them is prepared for.

Because sometimes the hardest part isn't falling in love.

It's figuring out what happens when the music stops.

Before the Noise is a story about friendship, ambition, fame, first love, and the kind of heartbreak that sounds a lot like your favorite song.
