The Shape of Instinct

At Seorin University, instinct is just another part of being human.

Some students have claws. Some have fangs. Some can trade two legs for four. Others are entirely human. None of it is particularly unusual.

What is unusual is the way eight students who were never supposed to become a group keep finding their lives tangled together.

A wolf who carries everyone else's weight before his own.
A cat who has perfected the art of pretending he doesn't care.
A human who loves loudly and without apology.
A cat whose thoughts move faster than his mouth.
An artist who feels everything in color.
A baker who makes warmth look effortless.
A wolf with a talent for noticing too much.
And a designer who refuses to let anyone underestimate him.

It starts small.

Shared classes. Mutual friends. Accidental meetings. Familiar faces appearing often enough to become familiar voices, familiar routines, familiar places beside each other.

Then somewhere along the way, eight separate lives begin taking the shape of something none of them planned.

Friendship.

Love.

A Circle.

Because instinct can pull someone closer.

But it can never decide what happens next.

Instinct finds the shape. Choice gives it meaning.
