"You're impossible!" He screamed into my face while throwing his hands into the air.
"And you... you... ugh! You frustrate me so much. I thought I was getting somewhere with you; I thought we were becoming friends, but I thought wrong. You say I'm impossible yet you strut around this town begging for attention and when someone tries to give it to you, you scream in their face!" I yelled back. After my breathing settled I added, "Why do you have to be so difficult." My voice was so small and quiet, a normal person couldn't have even heard what I said, but I know him. He heard every syllable.
"You're so dense, Scar." He replied breathlessly. "I run away because I don't want to hurt you." He approached me as if not to scare me away and raised his hand to my face. The moonlight reflected off of his eyes and that's when I saw the emotion I dreaded; the emotion that will get him killed. He gently stroked my cheek and whispered, "I love you, Scar."
