This is a Warhammer 40k story, It depicts one of the events that befell a successor Chapter of the Salamanders (which I created), known as the DragonFlys. Following the Horus Heresy, they were formed and sent to a planet called Aereus Prime. However, a Warp storm eventually engulfed them, and by the time they finally managed to escape, eight thousand years had passed; they then set course for Aereus Prime to face the new adversities of this new Dark Age of Mankind. Here are some details about them to provide some context.
