“Isabelle,” his husky voice muttered, causing me to swallow my heart that was crawling up my throat, “Look at me. Isabelle, please look at me.”

“Isabelle, you have to listen to me. I need you to leave now. Leave now, lock the door behind you and never return. Ever. Your weren’t supposed to come up here,” he whispered, She wanted to punch him. What secret could he possibly have that she couldn’t witness?
