Laura Smith first experienced infatuation in the 6th grade when she met a guy from playing soccer. They became close friends, even though they went to different schools.

They barely saw each other except when they had a sporting event, a musical event, or a field trip when schools within their area attended.

When Laura moved to another county, she lost all contact with him. She never knew his last name, never got his phone number, and never knew if had any social media. Granted, they were only in 6th grade.

All she knew was his first name and his jersey number. And ever since then, she's changed her sports number to 11 because she never wanted to forget him.

Laura eventually found him on Facebook four years later when he came up as a mutual friend. How did she know it was him?

There he was, him and his number 11 jersey holding a trumpet.

She tried to rekindle that relationship by pressing that friend request button.

He put our foreheads together, "How could I ever forget a beautiful girl like you. And last time I forgot you, I regret it so much."
