Taehyung grabbed Jungkook's hands, holding his wrists tightly in his larger hands. Jungkook tried to pull away, but Taehyung wouldn't let go.
"Wait-you're hurting me..." Jungkook said, his voice trembling.
"Please... Jungkookie..." Taehyung murmured, resting his head against Jungkook's shoulder.
"There's nobody else suitable for me like you are, so..."
His voice cracked, the desperation impossible to miss.
"Don't leave me... ever."
Jungkook shifted slightly, his heart beginning to race.
"T-Taehyung... I didn't say I would leave you. Why are you acting this way?" Jungkook asked, caught somewhere between fear and worry. He had never seen Taehyung like this before.
"I'm just... scared," Taehyung muttered.
He slowly lifted his head and met Jungkook's gaze.
Jungkook froze.
He had never seen eyes so intense before.
Taehyung's grip finally loosened, but he still didn't let go.
For a moment, neither of them spoke.
Jungkook didn't know what frightened him more-the desperation in Taehyung's voice...
or the fact that a small part of him was beginning to wonder just how far that desperation could go.
If this was what Taehyung's obsession looked like...
Jungkook didn't know what to call it.
