"I ain't pullin'." He kept his touch light, separating the roots. "You always this bossy when someone's helpin' you?"

"I'm always this bossy."

He huffed a deep chuckle.
"Yeah I noticed. But it's cute when you're not tryin' to win a case."

"I'm always trying tryin' to win."

"Not with me you ain't." He secured the end of the loc gently. "With me? You just be."

"What that even mean?" She chuckled.
