Sofia Tate has never had a normal life. With a mother who left and a father whose shady job taught her not to ask questions, she learned to take care of herself. But when Sofia returns home after graduating college, her father leaves her with a babysitter... or something like one.

Frank Castle.

Her dad's best friend. Brooding, grumpy, dangerously protective, and completely off-limits. Frank has one job: keep Sofia safe. But as forced proximity turns into lingering glances and undeniable tension, the boundaries between them begin to blur.

He knows he shouldn't want her. She knows she shouldn't want him. But forbidden things have always been the hardest to resist.
