After waking from a two-month coma, Daile finds himself struggling to remember the accident that nearly took his life. Most of his memories are gone, leaving only fragments of his past-and one person he can never forget, Fidel, the man he secretly loves. As Daile slowly returns to his normal life, strange things begin happening. Mysterious flowers appear on his desk. Gifts are left outside his apartment. Anonymous messages arrive on his phone. Then, one day, he receives a photograph of himself taken without his knowledge. Someone is watching him. As fear slowly takes over his life, Daile finds comfort in unexpected people while trying to recover the memories hidden inside his mind. But the closer he gets to discovering the truth, the more dangerous everything becomes. Who is the person following him? Why does the stalker know so much about his life? And what really happened on the night of the accident? Sometimes, the person you trust the most is the one you should fear the most. But Daile has yet to remember what he was meant to forget.

Euphemia Vandeleur has never had to wait in line for anything until a five foot street-food vendor tells her to wait her turn. Hungry after leaving a fancy event, she stops by a small cart near campus and meets Carmelita Amor Pinili, a working scholar who is not impressed by her surname, her money, or her attitude. What starts with one order and too many cups of extra sauce soon becomes Euphemia's reason to come back every night. The sauce was good. But the vendor was better.
