When Artemis was in grade three, she saw a raven haired boy, Richard Grayson in her class and thought she had found her true love. The one she would live the rest of her life with. At the age of eleven, grade five, she joined air cadets. Where she met a handsome young red-head named Wallace West. They became friends, but she didn't think anything more of him.
Grade seven, Artemis started to get bullied because she likes Dick. She is bullied by people she used to think were nice people, the class bullies, and Dick, himself. She stops liking Dick and starts to hate him. Artemis thought she would never love again, she didn't want to go through the price of love anymore. And for months, she stayed like this.
Sad, incomplete, empty.
Until she started to fall in love with her cadet mate, Wally. But this time, she is unsure of how to judge if he is the right one.
