"And then what happens when there is another Amon? When the Equalists still exist and still Protest?"

"What? How do you know there will be another Amon?"

She took a long drag of her cigarette, perks of being two years the senior of the avatar. She had spend most of her life buried in books, learning to read at an incredibly young age, from then on her father and mother nurtured her critical thinking. Sadly, they were no longer in the picture, but Tenzin was nice enough to accept her into his home, taking her to different air nomads temples so that she could read as much as she liked. she had helped Gemma with all the kids, kind of being a big sister for all of them.

And now that the Avatar was in town? She saw her pain, her desire to be free and the weight that rested on her shoulders. And recognized she needed a friend, weather to help with love or with understanding the complex side of political problems, Kali was always there for her dear friend Korra.

This is the story of TLOK retold. Introducing a character I feel was missing from team avatar, an older more academically inclined character for team avatar. I find Amon a seriously interesting antagonist, and I feel the story with the Equalists has much more to offer. THERE IS NO LOVE BETWEEN THE NEW CHARACTER AND KORRA (I desperately feel that Korra needs a friend that she does not date)
