The Worth of Self

What if the person who made you question your worth was never meant to define it?

She loved deeply.
She stayed when leaving would have been easier.
She gave everything she could-even when everything she gave still wasn't enough.

Then came the betrayal.

And with it came the questions she never thought she'd have to ask:

Was I not beautiful enough?
Did I not love enough?
What did she have that I didn't?
Why was I never enough for him?

Sometimes, the person we love becomes the reason we forget how to love ourselves.

But perhaps his choice to leave, to lie, and to search for temporary happiness was never a reflection of her worth.

Perhaps she was never lacking.

Perhaps she was simply loving someone who didn't know how to value what he had.

And now, she has to learn the hardest lesson of all:

You can lose someone's love without losing yourself.

This is not a story about becoming enough for someone.

It's a story about remembering that you already were.
