Reflection
There are no characters for me to hide behind in these pages. No fictional world to disappear into. No villain I can blame for the things that hurt. This time, it is just me. These are the thoughts I swallowed because saying them out loud felt too dangerous. The confessions I buried beneath I'm fine. The anger I was taught to feel guilty for. The apologies I owe to the girl I used to be. The questions I still do not have answers to. Somewhere between these pages, you may dislike me. You may think I was selfish. A liar. A sinner. A coward. You may find pieces of me that are difficult to understand. That is okay. I am still trying to understand them too. This book is me finally saying all the things I was too afraid to say when they mattered. It is filled with poems, unfinished thoughts, confessions, memories, letters to my younger self, and conversations with versions of me that I spent years trying to bury. I cannot promise you a story about someone who healed perfectly. I can only give you the truth about someone who is still trying. And maybe, somewhere between my words, you will recognize a little bit of yourself. Maybe you have things you were too scared to say too. Maybe there is a younger version of you still waiting for an apology. Maybe you are tired of carrying everything quietly. If you are, come sit beside me. You do not have to explain your pain here. You do not have to make it beautiful. You do not even have to be ready to heal. Just bring whatever has been weighing on your heart. Lay your burden beside mine. Poems, Confessions, and Letters From a Tired Heart.

The day Raina Carter gave birth to twins should have been the happiest day of her life. Instead, it became the day her husband destroyed her. Hours after delivery, billionaire CEO Alexander Vaughn handed her divorce papers and forced her to give up custody of their newborn son. Weak from childbirth and blindsided by betrayal, Raina left with nothing except her daughter Ava and a heart too broken to fight back. But heartbreak did not destroy her. It rebuilt her. For six years, Raina disappeared from Alexander's world and created an empire of her own. Wealthy, respected, and emotionally untouchable, she becomes the woman he never imagined she could be. Then tragedy strikes. Their son Liam is dying, and Raina is the only match who can save him. Forced back into the life she escaped, Raina must face the man who shattered her while protecting the new life she fought to build. But Alexander is no longer the cold husband she remembers. Haunted by guilt and consumed by regret, he is desperate for another chance. The problem is that Raina no longer belongs to him. And this time, there is another man willing to love her the way she always deserved. Now Alexander must confront the truth: Some mistakes cost more than money. Some betrayals never heal. And sometimes the woman you break becomes impossible to win back.
