William "Sparks" Billcot grew up knowing of his ability to police spirits, whether it be guiding them to the afterlife or killing those who deserved it. But unlike all the other soul reapers around him, he feels like he is lacking something that only the living know of. However, policing the paths to the afterlife made the soul reapers a few enemies, powerful enemies with those same abilities that were though only accessible through the study of reapers. Trapped in the world of living, William must now assemble a new team of soul reapers and whip them into shape to fight the Visored, sworn enemy of soul reapers. And time may be ticking down, as the 1 000th year reunion of the Original Reaper is coming, and dark things happen at that time...
