Historical
Raven Masters had plans for her life. Fight. Win. Build her career. Become a champion. Marriage was definitely not on the list. But when the MMA fighter wakes up in England with no idea how she got there, she quickly discovers that getting home is the least of her problems. The year is 1626. And apparently, she's getting married. Malcolm Sinclair, Laird of Dunrath, was promised an English bride. Instead, he gets Raven-a stubborn, sharp-tongued woman with a talent for fighting, absolutely no understanding of seventeenth-century expectations, and even less interest in following them. Neither of them chose the other. Neither is particularly happy about it. And Raven has every intention of finding out how the hell she ended up four hundred years in the past. But Dunrath has secrets of its own, buried beneath years of grudges, loyalties, and choices Raven was never meant to be part of. The longer she stays, the more she finds herself pulling at threads that were better left untouched-and some people will do anything to keep the truth buried. The problem with Raven is that she's never been particularly good at leaving things alone. And the deeper she digs, the more dangerous those secrets become-and the more tangled her life becomes with the infuriating Scotsman she was never supposed to marry. Getting home should be simple. Wanting to might be the problem.
