Amber Sullivan era una chica normal y tranquila, vivía con sus padres Lucy y Marcos y su hermana de 10 años Megan, todo comenzó cuando su padre y su madre les iba a dar buenas noticia a Amber y Megan y deciden celebrarlo, Amber se ofreció a comprar mercaderías al supermercado.... ese fue el error mas grande de su vida cuando llego a casa, vio a sus padres muertos al igual que su hermana, pero se dio cuenta de otra cosa, habían abusado de Megan antes de matarla. Unos extraños se la llevaron y experimentaron con ella con sueros y la torturaban cortándole la piel mientras estaba inconsciente y le arrancaron su ojo derecho, con el tiempo obtuvo poderes gracias al suero que le daban. Ella perdió la cordura cuando supo que ellos mataron a su familia y se vengo asesinándolos a todos. Desde ese momento se convirtió en Deadly Night.
