This story follows The Hunger Games canon while expanding on characters, relationships, and events left unexplored in the original universe! Some elements are therefore entirely my own interpretation.

I've put a lot of thought (and probably an unreasonable amount of emotional investment) into Aldera's story and how she might fit into Haymitch's world without taking away from the people and experiences that shaped him.

I really hope you enjoy The Waltz of Silk and Strings as much as I've enjoyed imagining it ! ♡
