Elena has spent years writing about famous people for VOLT Magazine, but her latest assignment is unlike anything she's been given before. Her editor wants Michael Jackson, and he doesn't want another interview or a recycled story. He wants something nobody else has.

Something that will sell.

Michael is used to journalists wanting something from him, so Elena knows getting close to him won't be easy. But the more time she spends around him, the more she begins to realise that the man behind the headlines is nothing like the person the world thinks it knows.

Behind the fame, the cameras and millions of fans is someone who is desperately lonely, constantly watched and unsure of who he can actually trust.
