"you wanted this job, correct?" the tone in his voice clearly showed his frustration with me, I grew nervous not wanting to upset him for the 100th time today. I looked down at my flats taking in a sharp breath before speaking. "yes" it came out more like a whisper. "Then cut the crap with me Ms. Valentin, if you aren't capable of doing your job and holding yourself professionally then I will gladly let you go" I shivered at the thought, without this job I'd be crawling back to my abuser for help. I couldn't do that. I need to pull myself together! "Do you understand me?" He asked slightly raising his voice. "Yes, sir"

He took a step closer, his presence overwhelming. my breath hitched in her throat as he reached for my neck, his fingers brushing against my skin in a possessive grip. His eyes were dark with something primal, and before I could protest, he pulled me toward him. The kiss came with such urgency, a raw, hungry connection. His lips pressed against mines forcefully, as if claiming me for himself. My hands instinctively went to his chest, but Alessandro didn't allow for distance. He deepened the kiss, his grip on my neck tightening slightly, a silent warning. When he pulled back, his forehead rested against mines, their breaths heavy and labored. I was dizzy, caught between shock and something else that sent heat rushing through my veins. "You're mine, Zuri," Alessandro murmured, his voice rough, as he stared into my eyes, searching for a response. "Don't forget that." My heart thudded in my chest as I looked up at him, my lips still tingling from his kiss. I hadn't expected this-the possessiveness, the intensity. I wasn't sure if I was ready for this side of him, but I couldn't deny the pull, the way his words had shaken me. Alessandro stepped back slightly, his eyes never leaving her face. "You belong to me," he repeated softly, as if it were an undeniable fact. Zuri stood there, breathless, trying to process everything that had just happened. She wasn't sure if she was ready to fully understand the depths of what Alessandro wanted from her. But one thing was clear-this wasn't going to be a simple work relationship anymore.
