Years after the 141 disbands, the world is plunged into a war unlike any other. The old task force find themselves on the same side once again. They are forced to find a way around their differences and past betrayals all while dealing with the consequences of a total war where child soldiers are now being recruited.
These child soldiers, otherwise called youth vanguards, have no one to look up to other than these four dysfunctional soldiers. Tasked with winning the war and keeping these kids alive, the old 141 knows they will not succeed.
