It was an ordinary day for me as a writer-unproductive, unmotivated, distracted, and clueless. In short, writer's block.

I spent the day staring blankly out the window, questioning the world, counting my collections and TBRs on my shelves, and avoiding the notes filled with my unfinished WIP stories.

Not until I accidentally came across a newly opened antique shop.

That's where I found an old, rusty quill.

I bought it without questioning where it came from. All I remember is using it that night to write another outline for my new idea.

And now, here I am, trapped inside an unknown world with no idea why I'm here or worse, whether I'll ever make it home alive.

All I know is that my quill has turned into a butcher's knife, my home has become an old-fashioned world, and I Soloanne-a writer who became a butcher-am now trapped inside the very story I was only planning to write.
