Moka had admired Minju for as long as she could remember. To Moka, Minju was everything she wanted to become-successful, confident, elegant, and impossible to reach. She never imagined that years later, she would walk into MJ Group for her first day of work and find out that the woman she had looked up to for so long was now her boss.
But the Minju Moka remembers doesn't seem to exist anymore.
The woman sitting behind that office desk is cold, intimidating, and completely uninterested in being close to anyone. She barely remembers the past, and when Moka tries to bring it up, Minju makes it clear that she wants to leave those memories behind.
Still, Moka can't stop herself from wanting to understand her.
Every day at MJ Group brings them closer, even when Minju tries to push her away. Between awkward moments, arguments, jealousy, secrets, and feelings neither of them knows how to handle, Moka slowly realizes that getting close to Minju might be the most dangerous thing she's ever done.
Because sometimes the person you admire the most can become the person who hurts you the deepest.
And sometimes, the person you thought you could never reach is the one who's been watching you all along.
