As The Saint Withers

In the war-torn empire of Aramore, where prayers are drowned in a blood-soaked land, peace always comes at an unspeakable cost.

For Ivelisse, faith has always been simple.

Until she meets the Devil.

She is a devout cera, draped in innocence and faith, sent to the battlefield of an endless siege. Drawn into the horrors of a war she has only known through prayer, she encounters a wounded Serkhan knight. To the empire, it is a sin. To Ivelisse, it is a vow to the god she has devoted her life to. The vow that no child of god should be abandoned, even an enemy.

She never expects to see him again.

Until the Serkhan army comes to her convent, she discovers that the knight she trusted is none other than Malkhan Demir. And he is not the mere knight she thought he was.

Now under his control, Ivelisse struggles to hold onto her vows as their dangerous bond deepens.
