Jennifer Morrison decided to adopt a kid, but the three year old boy she's about to adopt has a big sister. She doesn't want to siblings to get separated so she had adopted them both.
Samantha and Alfred Gordon were siblings. Sam is a fifteen year old girl that only wanted was her brother to be safe and sound, for him to be happy.
In their new life, Alfie was happy, but Sam doesn't really feel the love of her adoptive mother. But one person was giving her hope and love. It's Jared Gilmore.
Jared and Sam became best friends. They fell in love with each other ever since they met. He and Alfie were the only ones that can make Sam feel loved by someone.
Things happened and new people came to Sam's life, old and new ones.
