The Nanny - Aaron Hotchner

After the death of his wife, Aaron Hotchner is left trying to balance single fatherhood with the demands of the BAU. He needs someone to look after Jack. She needs a job. It should have been simple.

At first, she is nothing more than Jack's nanny-the woman who makes sure he gets to school, eats his vegetables, finishes his homework and remembers that dinosaurs are apparently the most important subject in the world. But somewhere between late nights, quiet breakfasts and becoming part of their little family, she becomes something more.

When Aaron offers her a room in his apartment, the boundaries between employer and employee become harder to maintain. And one night, they cross a line neither of them can uncross. They agree it was a mistake. They agree it will never happen again. But living under the same roof makes forgetting each other almost impossible. Because sometimes, the person you hired to take care of your child becomes the person you can't imagine your life without.
