In a city where corporations control nearly everything, Jace Techbox has nothing.

Fresh out of an orphanage on his eighteenth birthday, Jace is left to survive on the filthy streets with nothing but a worn jacket, a photograph of his mother, and a growing hatred for the powerful corporations that seem to control his world. His greatest target is N.G., a massive company whose mysterious CEO may be connected to the disappearance of Jace's father.

Angry, reckless, and armed with more attitude than common sense, Jace dreams of one day making N.G. pay. But before he can even figure out how to survive another night, an unexpected visitor arrives. Winson Techcon, the wealthy CEO of N.G.'s greatest rival, Mega Corps, pulls up in a limousine and calls Jace by name.
