Lingling never believed she would fall in love with a woman.

She was a Christian. She knew what she had been taught to believe. Love was supposed to be simple, certain, and something she could explain.

Then life happened.

Years later, Lingling is a successful doctor in Thailand, buried beneath hospital shifts, responsibilities, and the life she built with the woman she thought would be beside her forever.
