After a war severs communication with his family for six years, a man returns home from fighting to find his son remembers only the silence of his absence - yet rather than recount those lost years directly, he passes down small fragments of himself: a word, a gesture, the memory of hands that once tended a garden and later held a weapon. He reflects that this incomplete, imperfect transmission of memory across generations isn't a failure of connection, but proof that his family kept trying to remember each other despite the distance. Note: This is a short story. It's only one part. I originally made this, and this is an adaptation of "STORIES" By Caroline Hau Manila / Japan.
