My Summer of Love

It's 1967, the Summer of Love, and the place to be is San Francisco. Everything is changing, everything is new. Peace, Free Love, the right to be yourself, to transform yourself. There is an excitement in the air and the place to experience it is in the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco.

Zariyah has spent the last three months hitchhiking with her friend, Cookie. Cookie is everything she could want to be. She taught Zariyah how to hitchhike and how to take care of herself. The months they spent together have been good, but when Cookie announces she is going to Mexico City Zariyah decides that it's time to part ways and look up her friend Florence who is living in San Francisco with her musician boyfriend Phil.
