Rell paced the floor with his phone to his ear praying the man on the other end would answer. "Pick up, pick up, pick up," he repeatedly muttered to himself. The phone finally stopped ringing and the automated voice began speaking. "You have been forwarded to the automatic voice message system. 704-***-**** can not take your call now." Rell hung up the phone before the default voicemail could finish.

"He not answering man. He's a probably in a meeting. We'll just tell him when he get back here." He slipped the phone in his pocket and sat in the chair of the hospital waiting room.

Jacoby spoke up, "Nah we need to keep calling. That nigga would have a fit if he came home expecting his woman to be waiting on him only to find out that she laid up in a hospital bed battered and bruised." And he was right, Eli would go on a rampage if he found out that nobody at least gave him a heads up of was happening on the home front.

It was quiet for moment as everyone replayed what had just happened and how to relay that information to Eli without him going off and catching the next flight back to Charlotte.

Caleb spoke up for the first time since being in the hospital. He sighed before speaking "Look how bout we all keep trying to call him. If he sees that all of us calling, he bound to answer one of our calls or call back. I tell Sash to call too cause I'm almost certain if he sees Kesi's bestfriend calling and no missed calls from Kesi he'll know something is wrong."

The group agreed with Caleb and they all began their attempts to get in contact with the one person who needed to be here.

When Liliana signed up to become a private flight attendant, she believed she had a general idea of what the job entailed. Strictly professional. What she didn't expect was for the mysterious, strict, straightforward Mr. Cavalier to take an interest in her outspoken yet naïve nature. With a stubborn billionaire refusing to take 'No' for an answer, Liliana finds herself on a ride of a lifetime, filled with heated close encounters, daring conversations, not to mention a dash of drama. Will Liliana be able to withstand Mr. Cavalier's lusty and endless pursuit? Or will the outspoken hostess reject the hot billionaire once and for all? __________________________________ He didn't speak. He never spoke. I knew that he was able to speak, but whenever I was around it seemed that I was the only one speaking. He didn't seem to enjoy my presence, but then again that wouldn't be true given that he requested for me to host, on my day off. His eyes were not friendly, his jaw and lips that never smiled told me to always be on guard. I could always feel his eyes on me, and I know its him, or else my heart wouldn't be acting the way it was. ... And yet, here I am, patting down the wrinkles on my skirt, as his car approached the Jet. I was rather angry. It was my day off. I wasn't even on call. I told Jenna that I wouldn't come in today and that he'd have to find someone else. Apparently this man didn't take "No" for an answer. He had his personal body guard arrive at my door, and I wouldn't be too surprised as to how he got my address. The scary man was ready to drag me from my house, I was driven to his private Aircraft and now I had to play hostess. When he stepped out of the car, his eyes looked up to me. Had he smiled or even acknowledged my presence, maybe I would be free to assume that he was happy to see me.

Vice President of the Watkins Group, a development firm started by his father, Dylan, works from home most of the time, stating he needs to be available for Noah whenever he needs him. Dylan isn't a fan of his mother's interference and attempts to set him up with various women. After all, no one can replace Maddy, and Dylan doesn't even want to try. "I should be allowed." He says with gritted teeth. His voice filled with something. A thing a lot like desire that brings me back to crazy reality. A reality where we are tangled up against each other. "You should be al...-" A gasp escapes my mouth as he lifts me up or rather goes further low for me. His hands, back on my waist. Face buried in the crook of my neck, he inhales into my skin. Still inhaling he lets out a manly groan that I feel everywhere, in places I didn't know existed. The places that come to life because of him. "I should be allowed to touch you." He rasps in my neck. My back arches up and I close my eyes at his declaration. At his domination. At his intoxication. "You should be allowed to touch me." I insist. Brain empty. Because I can't think right now. He lifts his head up then, I notice his eyes have gone darker. His features have gone wilder. Representing an untamed animal in a way. ------------------------- Isabella Evans is your typical good girl who has a bit of a dark past. And he was right. Our ending is that one fucked up movie that no on wants to go see. "SO YOU AREN'T WILLING TO RISK IT ALL!?! I yelled louder as the rain came pouring down. He turned on his heal and stomped twords me pulling me close to him leaveing no space between us. His lips came crashing down on mine making the butterflies in my stomach errupt with pleaseure. He pulled away and sighed as did I. He grabbed my hand and ran his thumb over the knuckle of my thumb over my tattoo thanks to his stupid game of dare or dare. "Look at the perspective of things Vana. You might see a smily face but I don't. I see a sad face. You don't want my happy ending. Trust me." He said and sighed again. "I love you so much Vana." "My name's Elijah, by the way. It's nice to meet you, window-girl." She liked that name: Elijah. "I doubt you're even listening, but, look, I'm not here to cause problems, you know? I'm just here to chat. It can get lonely when we segregate ourselves into our own little world. I mean, maybe you like it in there," he continued, as she stared at the door separating them, "but, in case you don't, I'd like to offer my company." Instead of panicking, Liza could only focus on four words he'd said. 'Our own little world.' How had he known? She was in her own little world, consisting of her, her dog, the condo, and now, maybe . . .? Her voice was barely a croak when she spoke to him for the first time. "I'm listening." ***  A horribly tragedy left Liza Garner tucked inside her condo, the only safe place she knew, terrified of the outside world and the people within it. Especially men. A change in living brought Elijah Harris into a nice new neighborhood, and he'd never been afraid of knocking on others' doors and introducing himself. Especially if a pretty woman was on the other side. This is a story about mental health, the amazing impact certain individuals can have on one's personal journey, and how making progress-no matter how seemingly insignificant-is always impressive. *** PLEASE NOTE: Rated mature for language, topics, and detailed descriptions of gore.
