Chaos Control of 2 Hearts

After secretly discovering Shadow alive following the explosion that supposedly killed him, Sonic spends weeks helping him recover in secret. Their late‑night visits slowly shift from tense and reluctant to warm and meaningful, leaving Sonic with feelings he can't outrun. One autumn evening, those emotions spill out in a vulnerable song he sings alone in the backyard,
unaware his family is listening.

Instead of judgment, they offer support, assuring him that his love for Shadow doesn't change who he is to them.
Shadow hears the confession too, hidden in the trees. Moved by Sonic's honesty, he seeks him out later that night under the stars. Hand in hand, they finally acknowledge what's grown between them, sharing Sonic's first kiss while their nosy but supportive family quietly retreats to give them space.
