Saints and Smugglers

Annora Briar is a smuggler, a thief, and an occasional pirate, depending on who's asking. She has ships to keep afloat, contraband to move, and refugees to smuggle out of the war-torn north. So when two strangers offer her an obscene amount of gold for another job, Annora expects more of the same.

There's only one problem.

They don't want her to smuggle someone out of Raska.

They want her to smuggle someone in.

Soon, Annora is crossing the continent alongside a ragtag collection of unlikely companions-and Kiernan Halvek, an infuriating northerner she would happily throw from the nearest cliff.

Or so she keeps telling herself.

Because somewhere between bloodshed and narrow escapes, bitter arguments and unexpected kindness, hatred begins to blur into something far more dangerous. And as the truth behind their journey slowly comes to light, Annora discovers that the cargo she agreed to smuggle may be carrying the fate of an entire kingdom.

And getting everyone to Raska alive might cost her far more than she bargained for.
