Ambush on Arkham

Based on the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Lucia Penn was the last person who should have ever been sent to Arkham Asylum. Those who knew her knew that she was far from those psychotically broken criminals that were usually kept there. However, her life is severely altered after a failed suicide attempt when she is mandated to be sent to an inpatient psychiatric care center. Because of recent attacks and threats on several hospitals in the greater Gotham area, it is decided that the safest place for Lucia is Arkham Asylum, where the Warden agrees to keep her in a wing secluded from other more dangerous patients.

Batman knew something was wrong the moment Joker surrendered himself. He didn't put up a fight and Batman's guard was up the whole drive to Arkham. Even during intake, when several military grade machine guns were pointed directly at Joker's head, something still didn't feel right. Batman knew Joker almost as well as he knew himself and he knew that getting Joker into the asylum was only the beginning. His suspicions were proven right when Joker suddenly broke free of the guards and took control of the entire island. Batman must balance stopping the Joker and saving those on the island, including Lucia.
