Better This Way

Andrew James was in love with her best friend of five years, Andrea Decker. Eleventh grade, on their fifth year of their friendship, Drew was going to confess his feelings to her through a dinner date he had been planning for a week. As he was about to grab his car keys and go to her house, a phone call stopped him in his tracks.

His life had changed since the incident happened. He shut himself from his friends except Johnny, and even though five years had passed, he couldn't let go of what happened and blamed himself for everything.

Andrea Decker moved back to Minnesota to work for her parents’ company. She was escaping her house from a wild party her twin organized when she bumped into someone who was somewhat familiar to her. From that day on, she befriended him until they got closer and closer.
