Moving from Colima, Mexico to the United States was supposed to be a fresh start for Zelina Montez.

After growing up under the protection of her father - one of the most powerful mafia bosses in Mexico, Zelina has spent her entire life surrounded by danger and rules.

Now, at eighteen, she finally has the freedom she's always wanted. For the first time, Zelina gets to be a normal college student. She discovers a world outside the one she grew up in and begins to live a life she never thought possible.
