THE SKYBOUND LIGHT

The Skybound Light is a fantasy adventure set in Aetherune, a breathtaking realm of floating islands suspended above the mysterious Sea of Veils. Each island is kept aloft by a magical Heartlight, while Lumenweavers shape living starlight into threads capable of healing, illusion, protection, and even the bending of space.

When fifteen-year-old apprentice mapmaker Lyra Calwen discovers a map written in her missing brother Cael's handwriting, she finds a place that should not exist: Nocthera, the legendary Lost Island. As the Heartlight of her home begins to fade, Lyra joins the crew of the skyship Starling and journeys beyond the known world.

Along the way, she encounters dangerous storms, pirates, ancient creatures, political secrets, the mysterious Hollowed, and companions who each carry wounds of their own. But the deeper Lyra travels, the more she discovers that Cael's disappearance is connected to the very heart of Aetherune.

The Skybound Light is a story about discovery and destiny, family and friendship, sacrifice and hope-and the idea that sometimes the greatest thing an explorer can discover is not a new place, but a reason to keep the light alive.
