In a Zootopia where every predator is fitted with a Tame Collar at the age of five, emotions are monitored, controlled, and punished. Green means safe. Yellow means warning. Red means pain.
Solar, an eighteen-year-old Norwegian Forest Cat-Bearcat hybrid, has lived with the red collar around his throat for thirteen years. He keeps his feelings small, his music loud, and his sketchbooks hidden. He has learned how to survive in a city that only tolerates predators when they stay quiet.
