Or at least, that's what Ciara keeps telling herself.

What begins as a petty rivalry slowly turns into something neither of them can control, as arguments become flirting, jealousy becomes impossible to hide, and the line between wanting to ruin each other and wanting each other starts disappearing altogether. Somewhere between hockey games, parties, friendships, late nights, questionable decisions, and far too much sexual tension, hatred becomes attraction-and attraction becomes something much more dangerous.

Because Macklin falls first, while Ciara fights it harder.

And falling for someone means giving them the exact thing she has spent years protecting: the ability to hurt her.

A whimsical, messy, dramatic slow-burn enemies-to-lovers filled with hockey, parties, friendship, jealousy, complicated feelings, questionable decisions, and way too much sexual tension.

I'm trying to deepen the plot, lock tf in, and write with more complex sentences because apparently I'm serious about this now.
