The Mutant ~Frank Castle

Anastasia Faith is a mutant created through a secret government-run experimentation program hidden beneath the foster care system. As a child, she and other children were selected for experiments meant to test who would break and who would survive, though the true purpose behind the program remains unknown. When the facility was suddenly shut down, she escapes at sixteen using her the developed powers form the program itself.

Years later, she is still searching for the people responsible, for answers about what was done to her, why so many children were lost, and revenge for the childhood they stole from them.

Her path eventually crosses with Frank Castle when they both end up watching the same man in a bar. Frank is hunting him for his own reasons. While she's been searching for him because of the possible connection he has to the people who ran the program.

Neither of them is willing to let the other get in the way.
